The great thing about my new adventure in gardening is getting a closer look at all the little critters in my garden. Some are good and some are bad. But since my veggies seem to be thriving, I have called a truce in the garden and have just let them be who they are!! Good, bad, or indifferent! Here is a closer look!
Not sure what type of beetles these 2 little guys are, I tried to google them. Anyone know? I read you are supposed to squash them. I have a hard time squashing bugs but I did go back to the garden prepared to do it but no sign of them since.
Found this little guy, I am pretty sure he he would do damage with a mean bite but I still let him go.
This is the famous Gypsy Moth which is damaging our trees. We are having our trees assessed in the fall for control but since we had record rain in June, they might have been naturally dealt with!
We love seeing this little guy in the garden!
Luckily none of these gals have decided to jump our new fence and feast on the garden. But they did manage to eat all of my annuals on my front porch and front garden! Here is one across the street feasting on my neighbor’s yard!
